How Can I Leave?
The news was kind of hard to take,
I'd be leaving all of my friends,
But I decided it was all ok,
This couldn't be the end.
I handled it the best,
The best I could ever do,
But then it turned out wrong,
The moment I met you.
I didn't want to leave,
My heart just tore apart,
Everytime I thought of you,
And how we'd have to part.
It didn't seem fair,
I knew this couldn't be,
I wondered why all of this,
Had to be happening to me?
My life had grown so dark,
It seemed I'd never be the same,
Why did I have to go,
Through all of this horrible pain?
My life had meaning before,
But now, it didn't seem true,
My heart will break and I will die,
The moment I leave you.
He Brought You To Me
What can I say,
To make you understand,
Exactly how I feel,
When you hold my hand!
Joy rushes through me,
I want to make you see,
The feeling that I get,
Everytime you look at me!
It makes me feel so great,
When I think of you,
It isn't just a lie,
When I say 'I love you!'
Everytime I hear your voice,
Everytime you breathe,
I want to thank my wonderful God,
That he brought you to me!
The Hole
There was a hole,
In my heart deep inside,
The sadness it left,
I tried to hide.
I was miserable without you,
I wanted to die,
I felt so much pain,
I broke down and cried.
Every second of the day,
I knew something was missing,
I wanted someone,
I kept wishing and wishing.
Wishing on stars,
Birthday candles too,
And everything changed,
The moment I met you!
So with this poem,
That was written for you,
I include two words,
They are 'Thank you!'
Thanks for what you've done,
You have changed me in so many ways,
My life is now complete,
And God in heaven I praise!
